Bidvest Foodservice has unveiled the re-launch of its own brand portfolio.  Consisting of four ranges – Essential Supplies, Everyday Favourites, Premium Selection, and Farmstead – the new collection offers improved product choice and an easy-to-shop solution for hospitality and foodservice operators seeking quality and variety.

CIS Excellence Business Innovation Award sponsor Bidvest Foodservice has developed the brands to better position the range for customers, and reflect current and up-coming foodie movements, enabling its customers to continually update their offering with modern, on-trend dishes.

The four own brands include:

Essential Supplies: Offering first-class non-food products at great value, Essential Supplies focuses on keeping kitchens clean so that the food can take centre stage.

Everyday Favourites: With over 600 products, Everyday Favourites offers foodservice operators everything they need on a day-to-day basis, from simple elements for scratch cooking to ready-prepared products.  Also includes everyday ingredients such as plum tomatoes and baked beans, bakery items including sultana scones and maple pecan plaits, and main meals from vegetable lasagne to chilli con carne.

Premium Selection: Brings customers the finest quality food and ingredients, all of which are endorsed by the Craft Guild of Chefs and  recognised for their quality, taste and ease of use. The range includes premium bakery and desserts, British ready-made meals, and high quality burgers and sausages.

Farmstead: The fresh meat brand, offering a broad range of meats typically found at the butchers.  All about quality, consistency, trust and value, Farmstead provides foodservice operators with the reassurance they’re buying from a trusted brand.

Holly Marrero Easson, Bidvest Foodservice Own Brand Manager, said of the own brand launch: ‘We’ve relaunched the portfolio to make it easier for operators to shop with us.

As part of this, we’ve also created a new non-food brand and a new premium brand which allow customers to find what they’re looking for quicker, as well as being able to offer a wider variety of products which match individual establishment needs.

In addition to the four brands, the Bidvest Foodservice Catering Supplies range, and ViVAS – a wine offering provided in partnership with specialist wine merchant, Bibendum  – are also available as part of the Bidvest Foodservice brand portfolio.

With over 1,300 products – including both light and heavy catering equipment – the Catering Supplies range allows foodservice and hospitality operators to find everything they need to set up a kitchen, from staff uniforms and warewashers, to utensils, tableware, crockery, grills and refrigerating systems.
