Norman Springford Wins HIT Scotland Lifetime Achievement Award

Apex Hotels founder, Norman Springford, has won the HIT Scotland Lifetime Achievement Award.

Aimed at ‘recognising an outstanding individual who demonstrates dedication to raising standards in the hospitality industry’, the award was presented at HIT Scotland’s annual fundraising dinner held at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow on 30th March.

David Cochrane, Chief Executive for HIT Scotland, said: ‘Norman is a highly respected Scottish businessman who has achieved great things for our industry, and Apex Hotels are doing fantastically well in such challenging times.’

Springford joins a list of winners including Joe Queen, Peter Lederer, Peter Taylor, Tony Jackson, Stewart Cameron, Andrew Fairlie and James Thomson.
