Pantheon equipment has launched a versatile new panini grill which aims to provide a convenient, energy-saving means of adding hot paninis and toasted sandwiches to menus.

Ideal for front of house applications, the new counter-top plug-in unit (pictured) offers twin chrome-ribbed plates for authentic panini score lines, while total external measurements are just 450mm (w) x 370mm (d) x 220mm (h).

With a counter-balanced top plate for precision cooking and a front-mounted, removable drip tray for easy cleaning, the new CPG grill is perfect for cooking small batches of food such as burgers, steaks and vegetables.

Energy-efficient elements ensure the unit is cost-effective to operate and there are no complex control panels.

Competition Corner: Design a Warming Winter Panini and Win a Pantheon Contact Grill

Up for grabs is a fabulous Pantheon CPG Contact Panini Grill.

To enter, caterers and chefs should design a panini with a warming winter theme, then photograph it (uncooked) and write up the recipe.  The approximate cost of ingredients with RRP should also be included.
