ScotHot 2017: Scotland’s Biggest & Best Exhibition for Catering, Hospitality & Tourism

Scotland’s largest event for the Scottish hospitality industry returns to Glasgow from 15th-16th March 2017. Attracting over 7,000 visitors over the two days, ScotHot 2017 will offer the sector everything it needs – from advice, opinion and equipment to interiors, culinary competitions and new technology – all under one roof. As part of the run-up to this momentous biennial event, CateringScotland.com and the CS Yearbook have teamed up with seasoned organisers Fresh Montgomery to provide regular updates on what to expect at ScotHot 2017…
Now in its 44th year, ScotHot will unite the industry and will form part of The Signature Programme and Scottish Tourism Week which incorporates six industry events over three days:

What’s on at the show?
New Product Awards – The New Product Awards highlight excellence among ScotHot’s exhibitors.
The Scottish Culinary Championships are organised by the Federation of Chefs Scotland and bring together the country’s leading culinary talents in one competitive arena.
Competitions include:
- The Scottish Chef of the Year
- Cold Display competition, where contestants create edible works of art
- Live demonstrations by up-and-coming chefs and industry professionals
Offering live presentations, demonstrations and debates, the Spotlight Stage helps visitors to build a better business.
Liquid Academy Live will be managed and coordinated by the LA Group, who will be hosting talks and providing interactive seminars with spirits, mixed drinks, beer and wine, in line with some incredible guest speakers.
