Scottish Oats Company Secures Listing with Brakes Scotland

Scottish oats company, Stoats, has secured a listing with Brakes Scotland.  The deal will see the distributor offer five Stoats products in the range: Raspberry & Honey; Apple & Cinnamon; Blueberry & Honey; Fig & Date; and the Classic Original Porridge Oats Bar.

John McLintock, Operations Director for Brakes Scotland (pictured right), said: ‘The Porridge Oats Bars are a fantastic addition to our Scottish range and allows our customers to feel confident they are selling premium products that are packed full of taste, talent and provenance.

‘We are delighted about the partnership with Stoats, and within two weeks of sales we can already see customers are enjoying the new bars in coffee shops, leisure outlets hotels and restaurants.’
Managing Director at Stoats, Tony Stone (pictured left), added: ‘Brakes is known for stocking quality products and is recognised as a trusted supplier for local Scottish foods. Securing a distribution arrangement with Brakes is a great milestone for us.’

Established in 2005 by Tony Stone and Bob Arnott, Stoats provides quality oat products which are nutritionally rich, convenient and help satisfy hunger throughout the day.

Stoats’ Porridge Oat Bars, which have experienced a 30% year-on-year increase in sales, are now available from Brakes Scotland in 18 x 50g cases.
