Aramark Awarded Order of Distinction After RoSPA Gold Haul

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has awarded a fifteenth consecutive RoSPA Gold Award to a major contract caterer for its achievements in occupational health and safety.
Aramark’s offshore team, based in Dyce, Aberdeen, automatically qualifies for RoSPA’s Order of Distinction, which is presented to organisations with a consistent performance in health and safety over a prolonged period.
Mike Ball, Managing Director of Aramark Scotland and Offshore (pictured), said: ‘This is the latest in a series of awards which demonstrate our excellence in health and safety, and we are particularly proud to receive the Order of Distinction.’
Established in 1956, the RoSPA Awards scheme is the largest and longest-running programme of its kind in the UK. David Rawlins, the awards manager, explained: ‘The RoSPA Awards encourage the raising of occupational health and safety standards across the board.
‘Operators such as Aramark contribute to a collective raising of the bar for other organisations to aspire to, and we offer them our congratulations.’
