Leading Scottish wholesaler and long-term CIS Excellence Awards sponsor, Braehead Foods, have today announced Gavin Tennent as the game processor’s new managing director.
The move sees the company’s former general manager (pictured) replace existing MD Craig Stevenson, who himself becomes chief executive and will focus attention on further business expansions across the UK.
Meanwhile, industry stalwart Arlene Bonomi (pictured left) will be joining Braehead Foods as sales director. The restructure comes as the company embarks on a further expansion of its 35,000 square foot custom-built factory and distribution centre in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire.
With consistent growth in Scotland and the UK, Braehead Foods will see turnover rise beyond £14m in 2016.
Craig Stevenson (pictured right), said: ‘I’m delighted to announce our new appointments today, and to welcome Arlene to Braehead Foods.
‘She brings with her a wealth of experience to this new and exciting role, while Gavin has been with us for six years and is committed to the ethos and vision of the company.
‘His promotion to managing director will allow me to concentrate on strategic issues and broaden our business base across the UK and beyond.’
