Braehead Foods Exec Chef To Join Tennents Training Academy

The executive chef of one of Scotland’s leading fine food suppliers has announced his intention to join a Glasgow training academy.
Joe Queen (pictured), will be leaving Braehead Foods to join Tennents Training Academy after a 17-year association with the Kilmarnock-based distributor. His new role as executive chef trainer at will see him responsible for developing the next generation of chefs.
A past president of the Federation of Chefs Scotland, and a current member of Masterchefs of Great Britain, Joe is an ambassador for Springboard Scotland, and a key judge in the charity’s Future Chef Competition.
Craig Stevenson, Managing Director of Braehead Foods said: ‘I’ve known Joe for over 20 years and I’m delighted that he has the opportunity to work more closely with the next generation of chefs.
‘I would like to thank him for the input and support that he has given to not only Braehead Foods but also The Cook School Scotland over the last few years.’
