Brakes Scotland Launches Craft Ales & Spirits Collection for Foodservice Sector
CIS Excellence Awards Young Chef of the Year sponsor, Brakes Scotland, has launched a range of craft beers, ciders and gin to encourage caterers to bring local flavours to festive bar menus.
Offering more than 90 varieties of craft beers and ales, nine types of cider and eight different gins – together with a comprehensive range of small-batch Scottish ales, ciders and gins – the new collection has been compiled with the help of Food & Drink Hub and covers six geographical regions.
Commenting on the initiative, Brakes Scotland’s operations director, John McLintock, said: ‘Our craft range spans the country so that every customer from the Borders to the Highlands is able to offer a local craft beverage. In addition to enhancing their sales, we hope they will assist in sustaining the craft ale industry in Scotland.’
