CIS Excellence Awards co-sponsor Bruce Stevenson Insurance has teamed up with Scottish cyclist Mark Beaumont in a partnership that will see the record-breaking adventurer act as a corporate ambassador for the Edinburgh-based insurance brokers.

The three-year collaboration sees Beaumont (pictured above) support the business across tailored events and charitable activities, including the launch of a charity cycle next year. According to CEO Edward Bruce, the cyclist’s role will also help motivate and inspire the company’s staff across its offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Scottish Borders. He said: ‘Mark is a highly motivational business ambassador and mentor, and we look forward to developing the relationship to the benefit of our clients and employees.’

Mark added: ‘I’m building on the success of last year’s achievements to plan the largest expedition of my career in 2017, and I’m sure Bruce Stevenson Inusrance will enjoy being a part of my world. They are a successful, trusted and ambitious team and I look forward to adding expertise and experience to many of their events and business activities.’

Initially shooting to fame after completing an 18,000 mile round-the-world bike race, smashing the previous world record by 82 days, Mark  then cycled the length of both the Rockies and Andes mountain ranges, a total of 13,000 miles. He is currently planning his most ambitious expedition and will be revealing details in the coming months.’
