The Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh, the CIS Excellence Group Hotel of the Year 2016, has collaborated with record-breaking adventurer and endurance cyclist Mark
Beaumont to create a special menu for guests. Aimed at inspiring healthy routines, Rocco Forte Nourish includes a menu with dishes designed to nourish and refuel the body.
Commenting on the new collaboration, Mark said: ‘Nutrition is something I take extremely seriously when training for ultra-endurance challenges. When you’re travelling, it’s not always easy to find nourishing dishes and this collaboration will ensure that guests at The Balmoral will be able to access this during their stay.’
The Perthshire-born ultra-endurance athlete is known for completing several world-record-beating feats, including rowing the Arctic and completing a cycle from Cairo to Cape Town in just over 41 days.
Mark Beaumont for Rocco Forte Nourish items will be available on the breakfast at Hadrian’s, in-room dining and the Balmoral Spa menus.
