CIS Excellence Multi-Award-Winning Balmoral Hotel Shortlisted in AA Hospitality Awards

The finalists for the AA Hospitality Awards 2016 have been announced, with two Scottish establishments making the shortlist. In addition to the Balmoral Hotel, which picked up an unprecedented four trophies at this year’s CIS Excellence Awards in May, a housekeeper from Rufflets Country House Hotel in St Andrews is also in the running.
The four categories include:
The AA Foodservice Award
- The Balmoral Number One – Edinburgh
- The Ritz – London
- Winteringham Fields – Winteringham
AA Housekeeper of the Year Award
- Emma Lucking, Kettering Park Hotel and Spa, Kettering
- Nan McDowell, Crewe Hall, Crewe
- Heather Rothery, Rufflets Country House, St Andrews
AA Eco Hotel of the Year
- Aviator – Farnborough
- Battlesteads Hotel, Hexham
- St Ermins Hotel, London
- Oakley Court, Windsor
AA College Restaurant of the Year Award
- The Atrium, University College, Birmingham
- The Brasserie, Milton Keynes College
- Foxholes Restaurant, Runshaw College, Leyland
Taking place on 26th September at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, the awards will also announce the new AA Rosettes and AA Red Star establishments for 2017.
