Compass Group UK & Ireland RoSPA Celebrate Success
The UK’s largest catering and support services firm has achieved seven gold medals for its approach to occupational health and safety.
CIS Excellence Special Award sponsor, Compass Group UK & Ireland, secured gold awards for the company’s Chartwells, Levy Restaurants UK, Healthcare, VSG and Instore divisions.
Representatives from Compass UK & Ireland were presented with their awards at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel last week.
The event also marked the 60th anniversary of the accident prevention charity, The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
The scheme, which is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas, appraises entrants’ occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
Compass Group UK & Ireland’s HSE Director Chris Williams, said: ‘Across our business we’ve been presented with seven gold awards from RoSPA.
‘Health and safety is a top priority and it is great to see different parts of Compass Group UK & Ireland achieving such exceptional feedback.’
