Compass Group UK & Ireland is celebrating six months of success with Street League in Scotland.
Teaming up with Compass at the end of last year to create job opportunities for young unemployed people aged 16-30, Street League has so far brought 17 candidates into employment.
Based in Scotland, the charity launched the partnership with Compass Scotland at the SEC, initially securing training and roles for 10 candidates.
Following the success in Scotland, the organisations have developed the partnership across the wider UK business, and close to 30 young people have since been given permanent roles in London alone. Street League is utilising Compass’s flagship regional community skills and learning hub, Xcelerate with Edgbaston, to deliver a rolling eight-week Academy Programme in Birmingham.
