Commenting on his new position, Federico said: ‘The Glasshouse is a unique property and I’m looking forward to working with a great team to showcase everything it has to offer.’

As the only Scottish property in the Autograph Collection – part of Marriott International’s independent portfolio – the Glasshouse is housed behind the 150-year-old façade of the Lady Glenorchy Church.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the property recently underwent a £3m refurbishment to transform its bedrooms and public spaces, including the Snug lounge rooftop garden.
