The team of ‘riders’, from the Mercure Edinburgh City Hotel, has completed a tour of the Scottish Mercure hotels, albeit on an exercise bike, and raised more than £1,500 for charity.
The volunteers cycled the equivalent distance of a journey starting at Mercure Ayr and finishing at Mercure Inverness, visiting Glasgow, Livingston, Edinburgh and Perth en route.
The total mileage between properties would have been 239.8 miles, although the three colleagues managed to complete 246.9 miles.
A total of £1,690 was collected for Breast Cancer Care at the property’s entrance on Princes Street on 22nd and 23rd August.
