An Edinburgh restaurant has been announced as the regional winner for Scotland in Unilever Food Solutions’ Best British Roast Dinner competition. Kyloe Restaurant impressed a judging panel thanks to its locally sourced ingredients and perfectly cooked roast. The restaurant will now go head-to-head with the other four regional winners, one of which will be crowned the provider of Best British Roast Dinner 2016.

Chris Brown, channel trade marketing manager at Unilever Food Solutions, said: ‘Kyloe Restaurant can be extremely proud of winning the regional title and its regulars can be proud to say they their local boasts one of the best pub roasts in the country.
The national winner will be announced at the end of British Roast Dinner Week, this Sunday 2nd October 2016. Sponsored by Colman’s and supported by KNORR, the initiative encourages pubs to put on a roast every day of the week, after research showed that almost half of consumers want to see a roast on the menu every day.
