Edinburgh’s Tune Hotel Purchased by The Edinburgh Collection

A popular property in the west of the capital has been taken over by private hotel group, The Edinburgh Collection. The 189-bedroom Tune Hotel, situated opposite the city’s Haymarket train station, has been rebranded as the Haymarket Hub Hotel.
Featuring a new business class offering, the hotel (pictured above, looking out onto the station) will include enhanced facilities and services, including Handy smart phones – the first to arrive in Scotland. With free data and UK and internationals calls to countries including Australia, China, India and the USA, visitors can access the latest city news, events and explore the capital using Google maps. There are also plans to expand the lounge area with an Illy Café.
Edinburgh Collection MD, Ricky Kapoor (pictured left), said: This new addition will enable us to meet the demands of a variety of visitors and travellers to Scotland’s capital.
‘The Haymarket Hub Hotel is an exciting new concept that will satisfy even the most discerning travellers.’
Group CEO of parent company Palm Holdings, Sheetal Kapoor, added: ‘This acquisition takes us a step closer to achieving a total room count of over of 2,000.’
