Chartered surveyors and business valuation experts, Graham and Sibbald, acting on the instructions from Joint Administrators Julie Tait & Stuart Preston, have announced the sale of the Dunalastair Hotel Suites at Kinloch Rannoch, Perthshire.
With its origins as a drovers inn in the 1700s, the current incarnation of Dunalastair Hotel dates from the late Victorian period, although the extensively refurbished Dunalastair Hotel Suites now offer 32 letting bedrooms with a range of public rooms overlooking the sheltered inner courtyard. The new owners are reported to be Loch Rannoch Estate Ltd, who currently own and operate the nearby Loch Rannoch Hotel, spa and estate.
Alistair Letham, a hotel and leisure consultant with Graham and Sibbald, commented: ‘The Dunalastair Hotel Suites will offer the spa and leisure facilities of the Loch Rannoch Hotel to guests at the 5-star Dunalastair Hotel while increasing the choice of restaurant options for guests at both hotels. Kinloch Rannoch is beautifully remote and yet, at only a 15-mile drive from the A9, it is a unique holiday destination’.
The purchase price was not disclosed.
