Guestline, the property management and distribution specialist, has announced plans to grow its presence north of the Border.
Responding to the demand from independent hotels and serviced apartments across the country for information and advice on the best technology solutions to suit their business needs, Guestline offers revenue-generating services for all sizes of properties, from independent hotels and serviced apartments to large corporate establishments and universities.

According to new figures released from Accountants BDO, Scotland’s hospitality sector outperformed the rest of the UK last year, with revenue up by 11%.

The Tontine Hotel, a 36-bedroom hotel in the Scottish Borders, has witnessed increased efficiency and improved operations since implementing Rezlynx, Guestline’s property management system.

Owner Kate Innes said: ‘Since installing Rezlynx we have experienced much greater direct customer engagement for enquiries and direct bookings through our website.

‘This has resulted in an increase in our own commission-free internet bookings, which in turn has significantly improved our operating performance.’

Peter Walker, General Manager at Meldrum House Country Hotel and Golf Course near Aberdeen (pictured) who installed the Guestline system in 2009, added: ‘We work closely with the Guestline team to make sure we have the latest technology to suit our needs and are up to speed on all the latest developments.

‘The systems have helped us improve the service we provide to our guests which has increased occupancy and operational efficiencies.’
