Position: Business and Events Manager

Duration: One-year (fixed term) with option to extend for one further year

Role Profile/Grade: CAT4A/Grade 5

Core Pay: £21,000 – £25,000 (approx.) per annum

Hours of Work:  35 hours per week

Work Pattern:  To be worked flexibly 5 over 7 days

CIS Excellence Award-Winning Cordia LLP has announced a unique opportunity for the position of a dedicated Business and Events Manager at Glasgow Warriors’ Scotstoun Stadium.

Reporting directly the general manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management of a high quality service within the hospitality suite for match day hospitality, day-to-day player feeding, public catering and liaising with external clients, ultimately contributing to the development and growth of the club.

In addition, the candidate will be required to:

• Work directly with Glasgow Warriors’ management team to meet financial targets, performance targets and business objectives
• Communicate effectively with the rugby team, management, Cordia and external bodies
• Supervise and motivate the hospitality team, including the chef
• Ensure all aspects of hospitality – including health and safety, food safety and service standards – are met as required

The successful candidate will be a forward-thinking individual who is flexible, dedicated, motivated, innovative and equipped with excellent customer care skills.

An in-depth knowledge of the commercial environment is also essential.
