La Bonne Auberge Celebrates 40 Years at the Top

Glasgow culinary institution La Bonne Auberge brasserie at the Holiday Inn Glasgow Theatreland has celebrated its 40th anniversary with a grand party for specially invited guests.
Offering an authentic French Mediterranean brasserie experience in the heart of Glasgow’s city centre, the restaurant was founded 40 years ago by Maurice Taylor (pictured with daughter Nicola), the entrepreneur who was presented earlier this year with a CIS Excellence Lifetime Excellence Award in recognition of his contribution to Scotland’s hospitality sector.
Speaking at the party, Taylor said: ‘Over the past four decades, we’ve kept loyal to our French and Mediterranean roots, while evolving our offering in line with changing tastes.’
