Mar Hall demi chef de partie, Jenna Macfarlane, is to represent Scotland by competing at European final of the Escoffier Challenge in Venice next March.
Jenna was presented with the honour at the Association Culinaire Francaise gala dinner in London last month and as part of her prize, she will complete a stage working beside Michel Roux Junior at London’s Le Gavroche.
Along with Mr Roux, Mar Hall’s executive chef, Eric Avenier, was also enthroned as a Disciple of Escoffier at the event.
