Scotland’s Speciality Food Show Nearly Sold Out!

Scotland’s premier exhibition for fine foods and produce is within just a few stands and stalls of selling out this year, according to organisers.
Scotland’s Speciality Food Show – to be held at the SECC, Glasgow, from 18th to 20th January 2015, is quickly filling up with an increased number of exhibitors.
Over 130 companies from Scotland, England and beyond – including a number of key distributors – will showcase their latest products. Central to the show is the Launch Gallery. Aimed at innovative organisations under two years old, the gallery offers a wide range of original products.
Seminars focusing on trends, social media, e-commerce and food tastings will also be held over the three days, while judging of the Best Product Awards will take place on the opening day.
Mark Saunders, managing director of show organisers, Springboard, said: ‘Scotland has been in the spotlight in 2014, and early indications are suggesting we have had a successful summer in terms of fine food sales.
‘Many companies will only exhibit at Scotland’s Speciality Food Show, so it is the perfect place to source many original Scottish goods. ‘The show offers an ideal buying platform for all food retailers to help them sample and source for the year ahead.’
Held in conjunction with Scotland’s Trade Fair Spring, Scotland’s Speciality Food Show allows buyers the opportunity to witness and make orders for both food and gift items, all under one roof. With a wide variety of artisan foods and drinks, as well as more traditional products, the show offers food retailers, garden centres, farm shops, butchers, restaurants and tourist shops the first opportunity to source new and existing products.
