Scottish Chef Makes Mövenpick Dessert Shortlist

A chef from a wedding venue near Loch Lomond has been shortlisted in the Mövenpick Gourmet Dessert Chef of the Year competition 2014.
Paul O’Malley (pictured), who works at Culcreuch Castle at Fintry, joins the list of six finalists who will face the judges – including Cocoa Black’s Ruth Hinks – at a live cook-off in London on 25th September.
The winner will receive a luxury two-day spa break in Edinburgh, along with an exclusive, one-on-one chocolate showpiece course with Ruth at the Cocoa Black Chocolate & Pastry School near Peebles.
Two runners-up will also win a chocolate course at Cocoa Black and an overnight stay in Edinburgh.
