Scottish Food Trade Association Appoints Edinburgh Solicitor As VP

An Glasgow-based solicitor has has been installed as vice president of the Scottish Food Trade Association (SFTA).
Julie Brown, an associate in the Intellectual Property & Technology department at commercial law firm Maclay Murray & Spens LLP (MMS), will help drive the body in its efforts to promote networking and collaboration.
‘After years of supporting food and drink firms at MMS, I was very pleased to take on this additional role with the SFTA, which fulfils such an important role for the sector.’
SFTA president Malcolm Wilde added: ‘I was delighted when Julie accepted the role; she has all of the attributes we look for and has been a great addition to the executive committee.’
