One of Edinburgh’s leading fine dining destinations has been voted Restaurant of the Year in the Outside London category at the fifth annual Food and Travel Reader Awards.

Wedgwood the Restaurant, the only Scottish establishment in the category, beat a host of Michelin-Starred establishments to take the title.

It has been a strong year for owners Paul and Lisa Wedgwood (pictured), with their business also named one of the Sunday Times’ Top 100 Restaurants in the UK.

Organised by Food and Travel magazine, the awards took place earlier this week at the Royal Automobile Club in London. Voted for by readers, the awards honour the best operators in the world of food, drink and travel.
