Shetland Fish & Chip Shop Makes Seafish Shortlist

A Shetland fish and chip shop has made it to the final of the 2015 National Fish & Chip Awards. Frankie’s Fish and Chips, based in Brae, will compete alongside rival outlets in Plymouth and London in the The Sustainable Seafood Award category.
Organised by Seafish, the awards recognise businesses which are leading the way in the sourcing and promotion of sustainable fish and shellfish.
Paul Williams, CEO at Seafish, said: ‘The three MSC-certified businesses that have made it to the shortlist demonstrate the value of certification and how the industry is responding and adapting to the ever increasing availability of certified sustainable seafood.’
The overall winner will be announced at an awards ceremony at The Lancaster London Hotel on 20 January 2015.
