Scottish distiller William Grant & Sons has selected Guestline to develop a property management system for its Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Speyside.

The cloud-hosted property management system, Rezlynx, will be implemented alongside Guestline’s online booking manager and conference and banqueting manager, to enable the distillery to manage the accommodation and tour bookings in a fully PCI-compliant manner.

Home to the world’s most award-decorated single malt Scotch whisky, the distillery (pictured above) also houses luxury accommodation and on-site cottages which are available for private guests and internal use. With ambitious growth plans and a vision to become ‘the most coveted branded spirits company in the world’, the flagship distillery welcomes agencies, trade customers, partners, distributors, whisky collectors and media from around the world.

William Grant & Sons’ Visitor Centres General Manager, Peter van Peborgh-Gooch, said: ‘As a former manager of luxury hotels, I realise that property management software can bring additional efficiency to a business. I made the decision to install a database system suitable for our needs, and Guestline has quickly tailored a system which is capable of dealing with our diverse portfolio of booking requirements.

‘As we operate a whisky visitor centre, a variety of tours and a number of conference and banqueting facilities, Guestline’s C&B tool will enable us to manage and organise these operations effectively.’
