Brakes Scotland Announces Distribution Deal with Rapeseed Oil Producer
Brakes Scotland has signed a deal with Scottish rapeseed oil producer, Supernature Oils, to sell its multi-award-winning products including infused oils and black truffle oil, through its distribution channels. Launched and run by husband-and-wife Chris and Lynn Mann, Supernature Oils was founded in 2011 at Carrington Barns Farm, near Edinburgh.
Lynn said: ‘In partnering with Brakes we can reach a much larger customer base and offer the highest quality oils at a competitive price. Brakes Scotland have been fantastic to work with in setting up this listing, and we look forward to growing our business with them.’
John McLintock, Operations Director for Brakes Scotland, added: ‘We are always looking to support businesses who have fabulous products and in the next couple of years we expect Scottish rapeseed oil to become well established as a premium product.’
The fastest-growing sector of the oils category in the UK, rapeseed oil is worth over £7m* annually, with sales of cold-pressed varieties growing by 18% in the past year.
The oils are available now through Brakes Scotland.
